Sarath Kamal wins Egypt Open .. by Arun Arnaw

           

             

          The Indian Table Tennis star Achanta Sarath Kamal made nation proud when he became the first Indian player to win a title on ITTF Pro Tour winning Egypt Open on July 11, 2010 at Cairo. He defeated Li Ching of Hong Kong in straight sets 11-7, 11-9, 11-8, 11-4 in the final to notch up the biggest title of his career. He had to wait for three year to engrave his name in the winners list on the Pro Tour. Three year earlier Sarath Kamal finished runner-up in the Indian Open, a Pro Tour event, on the home soil.

           Sarath Kamal, who grabbed US Open title at Michigan earlier this month, was seeded 6th in the Egypt Open. He kept his winning spree intact through out the

event and won his matches with sheer determination, however Abdel Kader of France gave him good fight in the quarter final but Sarath clinched the decider in spectacular manner. Hereunder is the sum-up of his tremendous win the Egypt Open -
