Weightlifter Rahul wins silver medal in Youth Olympics

         Weightlifter Ragala Venkat Rahul today bagged India’s first medal in the second Youth Olympic Games by winning a silver in the men’s 77kg category in Nanjing, China. Tamil Nadu overall champion, Siddhant & Poovamma hog the limelight

        Gutsy Tamil Nadu-athletes became the overall team champions in the recently concluded 18th Federation Cup Athletics championship at NIS Complex in Patiala. Also Siddhant Thingalaya and MR Poovamma were adjudged the ‘best athletes’ of the championships.
